Certified in "User Experience: The Beginner's Guide" — Interaction Design Foundation

Filling in gaps in my knowledge

Completed a certification in UX design fundamentals to strengthen and refresh my knowledge, while addressing areas that may not have been fully covered during my university studies.

2026, February

Certified in "AI for Designers" — Interaction Design Foundation

Expanding into AI-Assisted Design

Completed a specialised certification focused on the practical integration of AI tools into design workflows. Deepened my understanding of how generative systems impact research, ideation, prototyping, and production efficiency. This built on my real-world experimentation with AI in product and marketing environments

Promoted to Junior at KptnCook (Berlin)

Owning Product, Growth & Brand Execution

Led UX and visual initiatives across product and growth. Designed and optimised end-to-end onboarding flows, reducing churn and improving first-time activation.

Redesigned the company website to improve clarity, positioning, and conversion performance. Took full ownership of paid ad video production — from concept development and scripting to motion design and final delivery — aligning creative output with acquisition goals.

Directed lifecycle marketing creatives (CRM campaigns, in-app promotions, retention visuals), ensuring consistency across channels while improving engagement metrics. Contributed to App Store optimisation through structured screenshot systems and feature storytelling.

Operated at the intersection of product, marketing, and performance — translating business objectives into measurable design decisions.

Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design from the University of Europe for Applied Sciences

Grade: 90.2%

Graduating with a User Centred environmental Project

During my final year at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences, I focused on projects that explored how design can influence behaviour. My bachelor thesis, Loop, examined how visual systems can improve recycling clarity and reduce sorting mistakes.

The project combined UX thinking with visual communication, transforming complex recycling rules into a simple, intuitive system of colours, icons, and instructions.

Loop

Loop was developed as a user-centred recycling guidance system. The goal was to reduce confusion around waste sorting by designing a clear visual language that could be understood instantly.

Through research, system design, and prototyping, the project demonstrates how communication design can support environmental responsibility through clarity rather than complexity.

Started as a Design Working Student at KptnCook GmbH

Growing inside the company

Starting as a working student at KptnCook allowed me to enter a fast-paced product environment and understand how design contributes to real business outcomes.

During this period I worked across marketing and product design, supporting campaign visuals, App Store assets, and in-app communication. This experience helped me understand how acquisition, activation, and retention connect inside a digital product.

2024, August

Started as a Design intern at KptnCook GmbH, Berlin, Germany

Making my professional debut

My internship at KptnCook marked my first professional experience inside a product team. Working closely with designers, marketers, and product managers, I contributed to campaigns, feature communication, and UI improvements inside the app.

This environment introduced me to real design constraints — timelines, metrics, and collaboration — and helped me transition from academic projects to practical product design.

1st Place, Poster Competition

Best Poster for the inaugural lecture "AI Aesthetics"

Winning a University Design Competition

In 2023 I won first place in a poster competition for the inaugural lecture “AI Aesthetics” by Prof. Dr. Till Julian Huss. The project explored the relationship between traditional art and emerging AI-generated imagery.

By combining the iconic Mona Lisa with distorted AI reinterpretations, the poster visualised the tension between human creativity and machine-generated aesthetics. The winning design was later used to promote the lecture.

Moved to Berlin, Germany

Started University of Europe for Applied Sciences

New Chapter in my life

In 2022 I moved from Kyrgyzstan to Berlin to continue my studies in Communication Design at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences.

This transition marked an important shift in my life — both culturally and professionally. Studying in an international environment exposed me to new perspectives on design, collaboration, and creative thinking.

Magna Cum Laude, Diploma in Design and High Technologies

TOP-20 Students, 3.7 GPA

Graduated with a first big team project experience

I completed my diploma in Design and High Technologies at the Technical School of Innovation at the American University of Central Asia, graduating Magna Cum Laude and ranking among the top students of my cohort.

For my final project, I worked in a multidisciplinary team to develop an educational game designed to teach the history of Kyrgyzstan to younger audiences. As the only designer on the team, I was responsible for the UX/UI design, game interface, and the overall visual identity of the project.

The project explored how interactive storytelling and game mechanics can make historical knowledge more engaging and accessible for children, combining design, technology, and education in a single product.

Started Technical School of Innovation of the American University of Central Asia,
Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

First Design Education

My design journey began in 2019 when I started studying Design and High Technologies at the Technical School of Innovation at the American University of Central Asia in Bishkek. The program introduced me to the fundamentals of visual communication, digital tools, and creative problem-solving.

During this time I explored different areas of design, from illustration and layout to digital media and emerging technologies. These early projects helped me understand how design can communicate ideas clearly and laid the foundation for my later transition into UX and product design.
